Bangle up supports La Maison des Femmes. 💕

Since March 2020, we have given our backing to La Maison des Femmes, a care centre set up by Ghada Hatem in Saint-Denis for all women who are vulnerable or victims of violence.

In 2021, bangle up launched the “Soyons des Héroïnes” (Let’s be Heroines) bangle. All profits from the sale of the piece will be paid to this organisation to contribute to the opening of a second “Self-esteem” workshop.

This Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the adventure continues. Discover its re-edition in tangerine. The funds raised will help to expand and develop new workshops!

A creative workshop for making a fresh start

Since 2016 La Maison des Femmes has also been supporting women as they recover and rebuild their lives by running creative workshops with an ethos of solidarity to help them learn to enjoy life again.

Working with a mix of jewellery, drawings and photographs, the “Self-esteem” workshop, hosted every Monday morning by Clémentine du Pontavice (illustrator) and Louise Oligny (photographer), helps women who are victims of violence get their lives back on track.

Clémentine, an activist illustrator

You’re probably familiar with her style of drawing! Clémentine du Pontavice, an illustrator with a strong commitment to social and political causes, collaborated with bangle up on a previous jewellery line.

It is thanks to Clémentine that we got to know the teams at La Maison des Femmes.

Bangle up is about jewellery and women, but above all it is about making the world a better place!
